Three New Appointments Strengthen Bracewell Stirling

This week, we’re pleased to introduce three new team members who bring a range of skills, experience, and fresh perspectives to Bracewell Stirling Consulting. From architectural expertise spanning continents, to hands-on ecological design, and strategic thinking rooted in business development, each new colleague strengthens our growing team.

Join us in welcoming architect Michael Lehner, Part II Architectural Assistant Joanna Dyrda, and Business Development Intern Salvador Gordo!

Michael Lehner

Introduction 1 of 3 – join us in welcoming Michael Lehner, an experienced architect, to the team at Bracewell Stirling Consulting.

Michael is an experienced architect with over 20 years of practice in the US and UK. His career has taken him from New York and Portland to Glasgow, covering design, project management, and architectural delivery. He holds a Master of Architecture from MIT and has worked on a wide variety of commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.

With a thoughtful design approach and strong technical insight, Michael has already made a positive contribution, and we’re delighted to have him on board.

Joanna Dyrda

Introduction 2 of 3! We’re pleased to welcome Joanna Dyrda to Bracewell Stirling Consulting as a Part II Architectural Assistant.

Joanna holds a BSc in Architectural Studies from the University of Strathclyde and an MArch from Robert Gordon University, where her research and design work explored integrating ecosystems and biodiversity into the urban environment, as well as frameworks for affordable, high-density rural housing.

She brings practical experience from working closely with architects, builders, and craftsmen, including hands-on involvement in the design and construction of bespoke timber frame homes.

Joanna’s interest in the connection between architecture and ecology brings a valuable perspective to the team and is a welcome addition to our practice.

Salvador Gordo

Introduction 3 of 3 – last but not least! We’re delighted to welcome Salvador Gordo to Bracewell Stirling Consulting as our new Business Development Intern.

Salvador is completing his Honours degree in Management at the University of Stirling, where his recent dissertation explored the adoption of AI in construction project management. Alongside his academic work, he’s gained experience in strategic consulting for startups and holds project management certifications including CAPM and Scrum.

A former Olympian who represented Angola at the Tokyo 2020 Games, Salvador brings discipline, focus, and a collaborative mindset to his work.

Over the summer, he’ll be working closely with the team on business development, building on both his academic and professional experience. We’re looking forward to the insight and energy he’ll bring.
