Over the last couple of weeks, Bracewell attended two apprenticeship events aimed at supporting young people as they consider their future career paths.
Lisa Middleton, Partner, and Michael Jack, Associate, from our Inverness studio attended the DYW Inverness & Central Highland and Skills Development Scotland School Apprenticeship Fayre at Alness Academy. Stephen Lynas, Business Development Manager, and Kerr Arnold, Architectural Assistant, from our Stirling studio attended the DYW Forth Valley Stirling Apprenticeship Event.
Stephen Lynas commented: “This was a great opportunity for our Inverness and Stirling-based teams to speak with pupils and school leavers about the different routes into architecture and the broad range of career pathways, from apprenticeships and technical routes through to university and professional qualification.
It was also a great opportunity to attend alongside Capstone Construction, another company within the wider Global portfolio, and collectively showcase the variety of opportunities available across the industry.
Architecture needs a broader, more diverse pipeline of talent if we are serious about delivering the homes and places Scotland requires.”
